Past work experience

Kansas Department of Agriculture
May 2019 - April 2021
During my time with the Kansas Department of Agriculture, I served in a variety of different roles. From learning about policy to data entry and research, I gained a wide skillset and broad understanding of the organization. I learned a lot about the facets of the agriculture industry, and I found myself constantly striving to learn more.
My experience with KDA has given me a wonderful springboard from which I can jump into any career with the confidence and skills I need to succeed.

Tanner Red Angus
April 2012 - Present
As a child, I grew up on my parents cattle ranch. My upbringing taught me values and lessons I couldn’t experience in another lifestyle, and I truly believe growing up around agriculture has made me a better person.
I learned from a very young age the importance of responsibility and hard work while helping out around the farm. Today, I still help my family on the farm, and feel thankful for the many life lessons and skills it has taught me.
